Jesse Hughes, also known by his stage names Boots Electric, The Fabulous Weapon, and “The Devil,” is the charismatic guitarist and lead singer of Eagles of Death Metal. He is a man of faith and potentially a future conservative political figure. VICE’s documentary, The Redemption of the Devil, chronicles Jesse’s journey as he becomes a Catholic minister, embarks on a passionate relationship with a former adult film star, delves into politics, and battles for custody of his only child.
