The narrative follows a young man named Marquise, who is brought up by his Godmother following the death of his parents, leading him to question his faith in God. Facing difficult circumstances, Marquise is caught between joining his cousin D-Rock in a life of crime or following his dreams of becoming a writer. Eventually, a devastating incident places him in a perilous predicament, compelling him to make a critical decision between right and wrong.
