Tom, aged 8, and Benjamin, aged 11, head to Stockholm for the summer to visit their father, a man they’ve hardly interacted with since his separation from their mother. Tom, especially, is unfamiliar with this enigmatic, reclusive figure who appears to be perpetually awake. When their father proposes a short trip to his rural cabin, the boys are thrilled. However, the cabin is situated in the heart of an expansive forest, a location that is as stunning as it is unsettling.
