“NOTHING TO HIDE” is an independent documentary that explores the theme of surveillance and the public’s willingness to accept it, often justified by the phrase “I have nothing to hide.” This film was created by Berlin-based journalists Mihaela Gladovic and Marc Meillassoux and was funded by contributions from over 400 supporters. The documentary challenges the increasingly passive acceptance by the public of widespread corporate and governmental intrusions into personal and collective privacy and freedoms. Following the initial shock of the Snowden disclosures, it appears that society has come to terms with existing in a digitally monitored environment.
