In modern-day San Diego, a series of murders has begun anew. A young woman has been discovered with puncture wounds on her neck and her body completely devoid of blood. Lieutenant Dan Richardson, played by Shane Pliskin, suspects the cause but remains skeptical, prompting him to seek the expertise of Micah, a blind art dealer portrayed by Gary Busey. Micah validates the lieutenant’s fears, confirming that a vampire is responsible, and recalls the past ordeal of Jack Frost, who had to make the difficult decision to kill his closest friend, Nat McKenzie, after Nat turned into a vampire.
