In this film, Laerte explores femininity through the body, challenging traditional notions and biases. The journey is not about finding a single identity, but rather embracing multiple identities. Laerte embodies roles such as daughter, son, grandmother, and grandfather, and is a parent to three children, despite having lost one. Laerte walks their daughter down the aisle as both a father and a woman, and experiences creation without the need for a womb. Through comic strips, Laerte crafts characters that confront reality, serving as a pioneer of self-expression. On the streets, Laerte blurs the line between fiction and reality. Embracing all and none of the bodies, Laerte defies binary classifications. This documentary follows Laerte’s journey, choosing to cover the essence beyond the physical form we occupy.
