Heather and her friends engage in some mischievous antics on the social platform ConnectMeNet, but their entertainment comes at the cost of a lonely, medicated man named Jerry Tobin. They provoke him into degrading himself on camera through various cruel acts, then share the footage online in a video called “Revenge on a Creeper,” which devastates Jerry’s already fragile existence, leading to his sudden disappearance. A year later, the situation takes a dark turn when Jerry resurfaces, no longer under the influence of the antipsychotic drugs that once subdued his inner turmoil. Now, the girls find themselves in a terrifying struggle for survival.
