After recently becoming blind, Ingrid withdraws to the sanctuary of her home, a space where she can maintain a sense of control, accompanied only by her husband and her own thoughts. Over time, she begins to sense her husband’s presence in the apartment even when he should be at work. Meanwhile, her isolated neighbor, disenchanted with even the most intense pornography, becomes fixated on a woman living across the street. Although Ingrid is aware of this, her true challenges are internal, confined within the walls of her home, as her most profound fears and suppressed fantasies begin to dominate her.
