One evening, Susie Q was on her way to a dance with her boyfriend when they were involved in a car accident that sent them plunging off a bridge. Many years later, a teenager named Zach Sands moves into Susie’s former home. Having lost his father in a car accident, Zach’s family now consists of his mother and sister, Penny Sands. One night, Zach encounters Susie and realizes he can see her. Susie reveals to Zach that there is a Heaven, and that after death, people are sometimes sent back to Earth to assist their families. When they can’t manage on their own, they receive special assistance, which is why Zach is able to see her. His role is to help her family. Interestingly, Zach is the only person who can see Susie, and as they spend time together, he finds himself falling in love with her. Could their love be something extraordinary?
