
With the swift rise of digital technology, an unstoppable and unseen force is transforming human existence on both small and large scales: Big Data. This term, scarcely mentioned a few years back, now dictates the daily lives of many from dawn until the last light is switched off at night. The vast collection and real-time analysis of data are enabling us to tackle some of humanity’s greatest challenges while simultaneously crafting a new global nervous system.
