Emma, who owns a bookstore, is a firm believer in fairy tales. Despite not having met her prince charming yet, she sees a promising knight in shining armor in her new admirer, Landon. As she juggles her time between Landon and working with Eric, a business consultant she once found annoying, to save her bookstore, Emma finds herself comparing the allure of a storybook romance with the reality of true commitment. As she navigates her emotions towards both Landon and Eric, as well as her views on love and romance, Emma starts to understand that fairy tale endings don’t always follow the script.
