In the western part of Paris, a series of bizarre killings occur, with each victim being disemboweled and positioned in a gruesome manner. During the investigation of one such crime scene, police commander Eric Lanester, portrayed by Richard Berry, suddenly goes blind. Despite this setback, he persists in his pursuit of the truth with the assistance of Gabrielle, a young taxi driver played by Emma de Caunes. As they delve deeper into the case, Lanester is forced to confront long-buried personal demons.
