Martial artist Ron Hall takes the lead in this intense vampire thriller that brings to mind the film BLADE. The story follows Derek (played by Hall), a driven police officer haunted by a fear that is particularly inconvenient for his profession. Traumatized by witnessing his father’s murder as a child, Derek has a deep-seated fear of blood. However, when he decides to pursue underworld counterfeiter Gustoff Slovak on his own terms, he is compelled to confront this fear. The mission goes disastrously wrong, ending in a bloodbath that leaves Derek as the sole survivor of his team. Derek soon uncovers the startling truth that Slovak is, in fact, a vampire. He then partners with Master Kao, the last descendant of a lineage of vampire hunters, who agrees to teach Derek his ancient skills. Yet, to defeat Slovak—whose history is unsettlingly linked to Derek’s own—Derek must transform into the very creature he despises: a vampire.
