Kate, a bride who has fled from her wedding, decides to lay low during the holiday season and ends up at a ski resort. There, she encounters Jason, a member of the ski patrol, who brings some joy back into her life. However, her newfound peace is disrupted when her parents and her abandoned fiancé, Alex, arrive at the resort with plans to reschedule the wedding for Christmas.
