In a grim and twisted reinterpretation of “Dante’s Inferno,” presented in the brutal style of films like “Hostel” and “High Tension,” a determined 18-year-old named Danielle seeks to escape her abusive foster home. She accepts a ride from a seemingly friendly but deranged man who calls himself Virgil, harboring a deep-seated vendetta against women due to his distorted religious views. Danielle soon discovers that her rescuer is far from a savior when she wakes up partially unclothed and shackled in Virgil’s basement. Subjected to Virgil’s cruel “moral cleansing” rituals, which involve depraved torture that could end her life at any moment, Danielle faces a critical decision: to resist and fight back or to descend into the same madness as Virgil. However, Virgil is unaware that Danielle might be more than capable of handling his twisted psychological games.
